First Job?

My first jobs were at Urmston Market, working on the sports and fruit & veg stalls. I had several paper rounds running at that time too.

How would you introduce yourself in an elevator pitch?

Hi, I’m Dean, Sales Director at Eternal Engagements. I inspire my team to speak with organisations about how Eternal Engagements can help business owners and leaders attract and retain staff, increase their bottom line and create a more stable workforce.

Biggest Career achievement?

I was the youngest to hold a senior position at Ecolab in the USA. Responsible for a team of 26 sales engineers based in the Gulf Region.

Nickname? 

Deano.

What is it about the job that you enjoy?

What I enjoy most about my job at Eternal Engagements is the opportunity to assist and guide individuals in achieving their professional goals and aspirations. Whether it’s through providing guidance, mentorship, or resources, seeing our team members succeed, and reach their full potential, brings a great sense of satisfaction and fulfilment to my role.

Who inspires you?

Alex Ferguson. He expected nothing less than perfection and could bring the best out of anyone.

Favorite film?

Rudy or Remember the Titans. Who doesn’t love a story about an underdog?

What did you want to be when you grew up?

Fighter Pilot.

What are the company’s most significant challenges, and how do you think we are positioned to meet them?

Recruitment is a challenge for new businesses like Eternal Engagements. However, we are taking proactive steps to attract top talent and create a positive, inclusive work environment. It includes developing recruitment strategies, investing in employee retention and development programs, and continuously improving our efforts to attract and retain the best people for our team.
